B-59 | Blacktron Armoured Personnel Carrier

Norton74 non smetterà mai di stupirci con le sue fantastiche creazioni. Amo particolarmente questo tipo di mezzi militari.
Il mezzo realizzato é molto molto grande, al suo interno sono alloggiati comodamente 5 soldati, più una bellissima sala operativa, oltre ai posti guida e la torretta sul tetto che é semplicemente fantastica.

Complimenti ancora a Norton74 e spero un giorno possano diventare set ufficiali o che l’autore condivida/venda le istruzioni per poterli realizzare.

My latest build is a big, bad and totally black armoured personnel carrier.
It’s based on U-59 Explosive Truck from Joe 90, a 1960s British science-fiction television series created by Gerry and Sylvia Anderson (the same producers of U.F.O.).
It’s called B-59 where B stands for Blacktron, in fact this six-wheel APC is the new and lethal groud vehicle of Blacktron*.

The B-59 presents many features, among others:

1) rotating turret equipped with two middle-range guns;

2) a little gun machine located on top;

3) fully detailed interior;

4) two hatches on the top of the driving cab;

5) an hatch on the top;

7) video-audio atmospheric sensors;

8) front winch;

9) back entrance (I really like the use of garage roller doors) .

The little ATV on the right is based on the Amphicat, a six-wheel-drive, skid steer amphibious all-terrain vehicle manufactured in the ’60s by Mobility Unlimited Inc. of Auburn Hills, Michigan. The Amphicat was also used by Moonbase Alpha personnel in the television series Space: 1999.

*Blacktron was a subtheme of LEGO Space introduced in 1987. Blacktron is considered to be the “bad guys” of the LEGO space theme.
